you can't choose to not [[choose]].there’s a way in which complete control actually takes away any agency, because any choice you make, you can always [[undo]] the very next day.a choice you will re-choose tomorrow isn't a choice at all. if you have to make it every day, it's just the continuation of a [[struggle]].maybe making a choice over and over again is really just the process of developing a heuristic for it, so eventually you don't realize you're making it. the only hard choices are the new ones. i don't have the capacity to choose this many times.most choices aren't really choices. decisions are always being made, but most of the time i have heuristics for every choice, honed over the years to prevent me from really having to [[consider]] my options.
